The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has confirmed the release date for the 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results. The results will be officially released on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 am during an event at State House Nakasero. This announcement was made during a briefing to the Minister of Education, Janet Museveni, on March 12, 2025, by UNEB officials, including Chair Prof. Celestino Obua and Executive Director Dan Odongo.
The 2024 UACE exams, held across 2,634 centres in Uganda, were sat by a total of 142,009 candidates, with 61,968 females and 80,041 males participating. These results will play a critical role in determining the eligibility of candidates for university admissions and other tertiary institutions, both within Uganda and internationally.

UNEB has reassured the public that the examination process was conducted with transparency and fairness, with the results accurately reflecting the students’ performance. This year’s UACE exams are significant not only for the academic future of Uganda’s youth but also for their potential international educational opportunities.
Students, parents, and school officials are advised to use UNEB’s official online platforms to check individual results once they are released. These platforms will provide the public with direct access to the results to ensure a smooth and timely process.
This announcement follows UNEB’s earlier release of the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results on February 11, 2025, and the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results on January 23, 2025. As the academic calendar progresses, these important milestones continue to shape the educational landscape for students across Uganda.
