Renowned Fangone Forest boss and singer Alien Skin has shared his perspective on whether he would allow his children to pursue a career in the music industry.
Unlike several artists who openly discourage their children from following in their footsteps, Alien Skin believes that his children should have the freedom to choose their own paths, emphasizing that music is a career with both challenges and great opportunities.

“Their dad is a musician, but my children will decide on their own fate since they see the positives that come with it. What I have to do is to only guide my child on what to do in music,” he explained.
The "Party" hitmaker further revealed that if any of his children decide to join the industry, he would support them and offer guidance on how to navigate the music business.
He also advised that language diversity could be an advantage, suggesting that his children should consider singing in English or Kiswahili rather than just Luganda to expand their legacy beyond Uganda.
“Since I sing in Luganda, what I can add to my child is telling them to sing in English or Kiswahili to broaden our legacy,” Alien Skin added.
Despite initially facing criticism in the industry, Alien Skin has built a successful brand and now boasts a strong fan base and a household name in Ugandan music.
