An-Known Seeking New Management to Propel His Career.

An-Known, a Ugandan musician who rose to prominence during the COVID-19 lockdown, has revealed that he is currently seeking a new management team. Despite his success and growing fan base, An-Known confessed in a recent interview that he has been personally handling his promotion and bookings.

The “Nze Ani” hitmaker admitted that he regrets not securing professional management earlier in his career. He believes that with a stable management team, his music career could have progressed at a faster pace.

"I regret starting music without a clear management team. I think with better management, I would be very far in my career," An-Known said during his interview.

He explained that, although he works with a few friends who assist him, he recognizes the importance of dedicated and professional management to take his career to the next level.

An-Known’s candid admission sheds light on the challenges musicians face in Uganda, especially in a rapidly growing industry where professional management plays a key role in success. Without a dedicated team, An-Known has to juggle multiple responsibilities, from booking gigs to managing his social media presence, which can detract from his artistic focus.

Having navigated this solo for years, An-Known believes that with the right management, his career would reach greater heights. Despite these challenges, he remains optimistic about the future of Ugandan music, especially in terms of breaking into international markets.

"I think Ugandan music is on the right track. In the near future, we shall hit the international market," he added, expressing his belief in the potential of Ugandan artists to make a global impact.

Looking ahead, An-Known is focused on finding the right team to manage his career. He sees professional management as a crucial step in reaching his full potential and capitalizing on the momentum he has gained. He also emphasized that, in addition to management, he intends to continue producing new music, which he believes will help solidify his place in the Ugandan music scene.

For now, the artist is determined to handle his business with the help of friends, but he is also actively seeking a team that can help him navigate the competitive music industry. As Ugandan music continues to gain recognition, An-Known’s story serves as an important reminder of the significance of having a strong management foundation in place for long-term success.
