The 12th edition of the prestigious Zzina Awards Listener’s Choice took place on February 13th, 2025, at the Galaxy FM premises, celebrating Uganda’s top talent in the music and entertainment industry. The star-studded event, hosted by Mr. Henrie and Florah Show, saw Ava Peace emerge as the biggest winner of the night, bagging multiple awards including Best Female Artist, Best Collaboration (with Dax Vibez for “Tabbu”), and the highly coveted Artist of the Year.
In a memorable moment, Swangz Avenue’s co-founder Benon Mugumbya received the Legend of the Year award for his invaluable contributions to Ugandan music. Another highlight was Allan Okello from Vipers Football Club being named Sports Personality of the Year for his remarkable performances in the 2024 season.
The evening featured breathtaking performances from artists like Tracy Melon, Anknown, Recho Rey, Dax Vibez, Ava Peace, Elijah Kitaka, and Dokta Brain, closing with a thrilling DJ mix at midnight.
