Ava Peace, one of Uganda’s fast-rising female artists, has revealed that she is not yet ready for a collaboration with Sheebah Karungi, despite the frequent comparisons between them.
The TNS singer made this statement during a recent interview where she discussed her journey in the music industry. Since joining Team No Sleep, many have expected her to follow in Sheebah’s footsteps or even collaborate with her. However, Ava Peace believes she needs more time to establish herself before working with Sheebah.
“I still need to work more to collaborate with Sheebah Karungi,” she said, acknowledging that Sheebah is one of the most influential female musicians in Uganda.
Sheebah Karungi has dominated the Ugandan music scene for nearly a decade, producing numerous hits and serving as an inspiration to many upcoming female artists, including Ava Peace.
Fans, however, remain hopeful that a collaboration between the two artists could happen in the future. For now, Ava Peace remains determined to carve out her unique identity in the industry.
