During the conference, PSFU Board Chairman Humphrey Nzeyi emphasized the importance of empowering young entrepreneurs. “When we looked at Uganda’s entrepreneurial landscape buzzing with young talent, we decided to hold a one-day mentorship program where they could gain knowledge from experienced entrepreneurs,” he stated. The PSFU NextGen initiative is designed to ensure that future generations are well-equipped to contribute to Uganda’s economic transformation.
The conference featured various sessions focused on critical topics such as starting and growing businesses, women in business, and evolving investment dynamics. A keynote speech by renowned entrepreneur Vusi Thembekwayo provided attendees with actionable strategies and invaluable guidance. Participants engaged with seasoned business leaders to tackle challenges like accessing capital, scaling their businesses, and fostering innovation.
