In his remarks, Fik Gaza acknowledged that while he and Alien Skin may have had their differences in the past, they are now on much better terms. He pointed out that the real issue stemmed from the behavior of those around Alien Skin, which he believes has unfairly tarnished his reputation. “The problem was never with Alien; it was about how others were acting,” he explained.
Additionally, Fik addressed the division among fans who had chosen sides in what became known as the rivalry between Team Fik Gaza and Team Alien Skin. He expressed understanding of this phenomenon, noting that it’s common for people to take sides in such disputes. His comments reflect a desire to move past any negativity and focus on collaboration and mutual support within Uganda’s music industry.
As both artists work towards reconciliation, there is optimism among fans for a more united front in promoting Ugandan music.
