Lanc’s involvement in Uganda is closely associated with the Just Like My Child Foundation (JLMC), an organization dedicated to empowering women and children through various programs. Under his guidance, JLMC has successfully delivered healthcare services, education, and leadership training to over 200,000 individuals in rural communities across Central Uganda.

One of the foundation’s notable achievements during Lanc’s tenure was the transformation of the Bishop Asili Health Centre into a Level 5 teaching hospital, officially recognized by the Ugandan government. This initiative significantly improved healthcare delivery for approximately 600,000 people in the surrounding areas.

In addition to healthcare improvements, Lanc has been instrumental in advancing educational initiatives. His partnership with local communities and the Ugandan Minist/ry of Education led to the construction of schools that provide primary education to children in the Luwero district. By fostering community investment in these projects, Lanc helped ensure that schools are sustainable and equipped with qualified educators.

The recognition of Erwin Lanc underscores the impact of international collaboration in addressing critical issues such as health and education in Uganda. His legacy continues to inspire efforts aimed at uplifting vulnerable populations.
