Renowned Ugandan motivational speaker and political analyst Frank Gashumba has made a bold statement about his daughter, media personality Sheilah Gashumba. During a talk show on Radio 4, Gashumba disclosed that Sheilah has never used a taxi in her life, highlighting the privileged lifestyle he has worked hard to provide for her.
Gashumba emphasized that while he himself has used public transport countless times, he ensured that his daughter never had to experience it. The closest Sheilah ever came to using public transport, he said, was the school van she used while attending Kabojja International School.
“I swear upon Allah, she has never used a taxi in her life. For the fewest times, maybe she has used a van to go to school at Kabojja, that’s not a taxi. She has also only used the Scandinavian Express bus once for a trip. But when I say this, people think I am showing off, yet these are facts,” Gashumba stated.
His remarks sparked mixed reactions among netizens, with some praising him for providing his daughter with a comfortable life, while others saw it as an unnecessary boast. Despite the criticism, Gashumba remains steadfast in his belief that parents should strive to give their children the best opportunities in life.
