Over 20 years since his headline-making appearance on Big Brother Africa in 2003, Gaetano Jjuko Kaggwa says he has no regrets about any actions he took while inside the house.

In a bold reflection on his time in the global spotlight, Gaetano commented:
“I don’t give a damn whether I did it in public. So what! I wasn’t bothered by who was watching me.”
During the first season of Big Brother Africa, Gaetano became one of the standout contestants, enduring all the way to Day 106 and ultimately finishing fifth. Despite not winning the grand prize, he left a lasting mark on African reality television history.
His fame skyrocketed further when Ugandan music icon Bebe Cool released “Kyoka Gae…”, a hit song that was inspired by Gaetano’s antics and presence on the show.
Since then, Gaetano has built a strong media career. He is a co-host on 91.3 Capital FM’s widely followed morning show, Gaetano & Lucky in the Morning, and has expanded his influence by serving as a judge on East Africa’s Got Talent.
Through it all, Gaetano has embraced his public persona, unshaken by past controversies. His continued success in the media industry stands as proof that authenticity and resilience can turn public scrutiny into long-term achievement.
