Kampala, Uganda – Legendary musician Geoffrey Lutaaya has spoken out about his deep disappointment and pain upon seeing the decline of former protege Grace Khan. Lutaaya, who discovered Grace Khan and brought her into the spotlight through the Nu Eagles band, has expressed how much he supported and believed in her potential.

Lutaaya revealed in an interview with Spark Television that he sponsored Grace Khan’s music career, promoted her work, and had high hopes for her success in the industry. However, he believes that Grace Khan’s career trajectory has drastically changed, as she reportedly resorted to witchcraft and became addicted to alcohol, which has impacted her career and well-being.
“It is painful to see someone you once supported and believed in go down a destructive path,” Lutaaya said. “I loved Grace Khan so much and did everything to help her succeed. Now, I feel disappointment when I see her struggling with alcohol and the consequences of that addiction.”
The musician, who is now also involved in politics, urged Grace Khan to abandon her harmful habits and work towards reviving her music career. Lutaaya’s comments come as he prepares for his upcoming concert at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala this Valentine’s Day.
