H.E Khaukha M.A Emmanuel Sworn in as the 8th Guild President of Victoria University.

Yesterday 28th Frebruary 2025, H.E Khaukha M.A Emmanuel was officially sworn in as the 8th Guild President of Victoria University, marking a significant milestone in the university’s student leadership history. The event, which took place at the university’s main auditorium, was attended by students, faculty members and distinguished guests, including acting DVC (AA) Prof. Augustine Osamor Ifelebuegu, who officiated the ceremony.

In his inaugural address, H.E Khaukha expressed deep gratitude and honor at assuming this crucial leadership role. “Yesterday, I was sworn in as the 8th Guild President of @VUKampala—a moment of pride, honor, and responsibility,” he said, underscoring the significance of this new chapter for both himself and the student body. His words emphasized that being Guild President was not just a title but a commitment to lead with vision, integrity, and innovation.

H.E Khaukha’s speech also highlighted his vision to build on the work of his predecessor, thanking the 7th Guild President, Kintu Emmanuel, for their dedication and service. “Your contributions have paved the way for student growth, and I commit to building on that foundation to drive even greater impact,” he remarked, affirming his commitment to continuing the growth and progress that had already begun under the previous leadership.

The swearing-in ceremony was further graced by the presence of guest speaker, Pr. Wilson Bugembe, whose words of wisdom, prayers, and blessings were deeply appreciated by the attendees. Pr. Wilson’s presence added a spiritual dimension to the event, strengthening the resolve of the new leadership team to guide Victoria University with faith, compassion, and purpose.

H.E Khaukha concluded his speech by reiterating his commitment to serving the student body with transparency and accountability, focusing on creating an environment that fosters innovation, empowerment and success.
