Kampala, Uganda – Former Kawempe South MP Hon. Mubarak Munyagwa has issued a stern warning to artists, advising them to steer clear of politicians due to the potential risks involved. He emphasized that politics can be a destructive force for musicians’ careers, as it often involves pressures and challenges that many may not fully comprehend.
Munyagwa cautioned that most politicians are users who exploit artists for their own gain without genuinely supporting their careers in return. He urged artists to maintain neutrality and avoid aligning themselves with specific political figures or parties, as this could alienate fans from different backgrounds.
Additionally, he called upon musicians like Lil Pazo and Gravity Omutujju to focus on creating clean content rather than blaming others for their career setbacks.
