Amidst prayers, speculations and tensions about the “Mbeera Genesis concert” by Levixone, it finally happened at Kololo airstrip on 26th/Nov/2022. “Mbeera” is a hit song by Levixone featuring Grace Morgan which almost all the literate people in Uganda identified with and it touched a lot of people’s hearts.
It was brave of Levixone to organize a concert in such a vast venue yesterday. And, though people didn’t fill it up like they did in 2018 for the turn the replay concert at lugogo cricket oval, they attended in a surprisingly big number.
The concert had been dedicated to all the disabled and it was free of charge to all of them.
Among the big names that attended was Pastor Alloysius Bugingo of The House of Prayer Ministries who prayed and preached for the people when the concert began.
Some of the performance highlights were that of Desire luzinda who’s allegedly Levixone’s wife following both parties pictures taken during the artiste’s Yoya song’s Video shoot with Ray G. Another one was that of Bebe Cool, a self-proclaimed Moslem and a secular artiste who sang one of his old song “Talimba Yesu”.
The gospel music legendaries, Pastor David Bweyinda ‘’Ekisaka kikute omuliro’’ and Betty Namaganda also performed ad many others.
The event productions, set and stage designs and lights had all been done by Fenon.
