Kalifah AgaNaga Promises to Revolutionize Healthcare and Infrastructure in Kawempe North.

Kalifah AgaNaga, the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party flag bearer for the upcoming Kawempe North MP by-election, has unveiled a comprehensive manifesto focusing on improving the quality of life for the residents of Kawempe. During a press conference at the party headquarters in Najjanakumbi, the Bad Character Records boss shared his vision for addressing some of the most pressing issues in the constituency, including healthcare, drainage, and infrastructure.

One of the cornerstone promises in AgaNaga’s manifesto is his commitment to improving healthcare in the region. He plans to purchase an ambulance from his salary to support emergency medical services for the people of Kawempe. In addition, he intends to lobby for funds to establish mobile clinics that will provide door-to-door health services, particularly in areas that are difficult to access, especially during the rainy season.

“I will provide an ambulance from my salary and work to set up mobile clinic services to tackle diseases caused by poor drainage, which often worsens during the rainy season,” AgaNaga said. The mobile clinics are seen as a critical solution, particularly in the slum areas of Kawempe, where many residents live in conditions that make healthcare access difficult.

AgaNaga also addressed the issue of poor drainage in the area, promising to collaborate with the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) and other relevant bodies to improve the drainage system. His aim is to alleviate the frequent flooding and waterlogging that affects residents, particularly those working along the roads.

“I promise to work with KCCA and the relevant authorities to improve the drainage system in Kawempe so that residents are not affected by the poor drainage, especially during the rainy season,” he added.
