Kampala, Uganda – Renowned Ugandan dancehall artist Karole Kasita has shared a deeply personal story about her first heartbreak, revealing how she was deceived by her first boyfriend, whom she later discovered was involved with two other women.
Karole, who is now one of Uganda’s top female musicians, recounted how she entered her first romantic relationship with innocence and trust, only to later realize that the man she loved had not only been cheating on her but had also fathered a child with one of the other women.
The situation took a dramatic turn when the two women who were also dating her boyfriend teamed up to warn Karole to leave their man alone.
"I was so heartbroken. I thought I was the only one in his life, but I later found out I was just another girl in his game," Karole revealed.
The pain of betrayal pushed her to confront one of the women during a night out in Kampala, which resulted in a heated argument and even a physical altercation.
"I remember losing my shoes that night in the scuffle. It was a moment I will never forget," she added.
Despite the emotional distress, Karole found comfort and support from Uganda’s legendary GoodLyfe crew, which was led by the late Mowzey Radio and Weasel.
"Radio & Weasel told me to never cry over that man again. Their words gave me strength to move on and focus on myself," Karole revealed.
Karole Kasita has since transformed her heartbreak into a source of strength, proving that personal struggles can shape one’s journey to success.
Today, she is one of Uganda’s biggest dancehall artists, dominating the industry with hit songs, and inspiring young women to never let heartbreak define their future.
