Renowned musician Latinum has boldly proclaimed himself as Uganda’s best dancehall artist, asserting that he is back to reclaim his position at the top of the genre.
In a recent interview with a local television station, Latinum confidently dismissed competition from other prominent dancehall artists, including Mudra, Alien Skin, and Fik Gaza. “I am the best dancehall artist in Uganda, and no one comes close to me. I don’t see anyone better than me, including Mudra, Alien Skin, and others,” he declared.
He went on to criticize Mudra, claiming that his music lacks originality. “Mudra’s music is fake. He does not have originality as an artist,” Latinum stated.
The singer, who had taken a hiatus from active music production, explained that he observed a gap in the dancehall music scene and has returned to fill it. “I have been away and noticed there was a gap, which I am back to fill. I want the fans to support me because I am the best,” he emphasized.
