Kampala, February 2025 – Ugandan singer Latinum Lati has spoken out against claims that he is no longer relevant in the country’s music industry. In an interview with YouTuber Shalom, Latinum Lati defended his status as one of Uganda’s top hitmakers, despite his career struggles in recent years.

Latinum Lists His Achievements
During the interview, the singer referenced his previous hit songs as proof of his influence, mentioning tracks such as:

✔ Baabo
✔ Kagwilawo
✔ Man Away
These songs helped propel him to fame between 2016 and 2017, a period when he was one of the most promising young artists in Uganda.
However, Latinum Lati later faded from the spotlight, with many fans questioning his musical future.
Latinum’s Comeback in 2025
The singer is determined to make a strong return this year, with a focus on regaining his status in Uganda’s competitive music scene.
"People may think I am no longer relevant, but I still have the talent and the fanbase. This year, I am back, and they will see that Latinum is still here," he said confidently.
With new music in the pipeline and a renewed drive for success, Latinum Lati believes that 2025 will mark his resurgence as a major player in the industry.
