Musician Lil Pazo has publicly declared his support for fellow artist Kalifah Aganaga in the upcoming Kawempe North MP by-election. Pazo, known for his hit song “Enkudi,” has pledged to personally campaign for Aganaga, emphasizing the need for the local music industry to come together and support one of their own.

Speaking to the press, Lil Pazo stated that he will take an active role in the campaign by going door-to-door in Kawempe, personally seeking support for Aganaga. He urged other artists to follow his lead and participate in the efforts to rally support for the FDC candidate.
“We need to support our own, and I encourage all artists to come out and back Kalifah Aganaga in Kawempe North constituency. I will personally camp in Kawempe and seek support for him,” Pazo said.
Pazo also shared his belief that Aganaga, who is relatively new to the political scene, will learn on the job and grow into the role of an MP. He downplayed concerns about Aganaga’s lack of familiarity with the parishes in Kawempe, suggesting that once Aganaga takes on the position, he will gain the necessary experience and knowledge.
“Kalifah Aganaga doesn’t need to know the parishes in Kawempe now; he will learn them once he gets the position,” Pazo added.
Aganaga, who is running for the Kawempe North MP seat on the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket, has garnered significant attention in the run-up to the by-election. With Lil Pazo’s endorsement, Aganaga’s campaign is likely to gain further momentum, especially among the music community.
