Outspoken Ugandan singer Yasin Mukasa, popularly known as Lil Pazo Lunabe, has shared a surprising story from his past involving the late Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya’s hospital. In a candid interview, the singer admitted to stealing a bicycle from the hospital in Kawempe North, a story he now reflects on with humor and nostalgia.

According to Lil Pazo, the bicycle he took played a central role in the music video for his popular song Katonda Yabadde Mweno Esonga. “The bicycle I used in that video belonged to Hon. Ssegirinya,” he confessed. “After shooting the video, I didn’t return it.”
Instead, he sold the bicycle in Katwe market for Shs150,000, using the money for personal benefits. The singer did not disclose exactly how he spent the proceeds but expressed a sense of fondness for the memory.
Lil Pazo’s revelations about Ssegirinya go beyond the bicycle theft. He described the late politician as an unforgettable figure in his life, attributing his fondness to Ssegirinya’s work ethic and legacy. “I can never forget Hon. Ssegirinya,” he remarked, adding that he plans to erect a statue in his honor to commemorate his contributions to Kawempe North and Uganda at large.
The singer’s revelations have sparked mixed reactions among fans and political commentators. Some have taken the confession lightly, while others questioned the ethics of glorifying theft, even in jest.
