Lynda recounted how she felt compelled to make the relationship work despite its toxicity, driven by fears of failure and societal expectations. “You know how they make us listen to all these fairytale stories about high school sweethearts? I tried to live that out, but it almost killed me,” she shared.


Realizing that the relationship was unhealthy, Lynda took the brave step to end it. “I snapped out of it,” she said, reflecting on her journey toward self-awareness and empowerment.
While acknowledging the pain of her past experience, Lynda encourages others to maintain a positive outlook on relationships. She advises people to manage their expectations and recognize that everyone’s journey is different. “Our timings are different; you never know who your person is going to be,” she noted.
