Media personality Mary Nambwayo has openly declared that she is taking a four-year break from relationships and intimacy, stating that she is fully focused on her career and child.
During an interview with a local YouTuber, Nambwayo revealed that she had successfully abstained for four years before, making her confident in repeating the decision.

"I am abstaining for four years. It's possible because I have done it before. I am very busy with my work and always giving time to my child. I don't have time for men; currently, I am not dating anyone," she stated.
Nambwayo, who has had a fair share of publicized relationships—including with musicians Opa Fambo and Suuna Ben—emphasized that this time, she is stepping away from dating to focus on her well-being and peace of mind.
Her relationship with Opa Fambo ended in controversy before she later got involved with Suuna Ben. Their breakup, which was highly publicized, was marred by property disputes, leaving Nambwayo emotionally drained.
Now, she insists that stepping back from romantic relationships is for her own safety.

"After everything I have gone through, I have chosen to prioritize myself and my baby. Men will always be there, but for now, I am focusing on more important things."
Many fans have commended her decision, viewing it as a strong statement of self-care and empowerment.
