Media personality Mary Nambwayo has opened up about her past romantic relationship with dancehall musician Opa Fambo, expressing deep regret over ever meeting him.
Nambwayo and Opa Fambo were in a long-term relationship that lasted for several years, but their love story came to an end in 2019 when she met Suuna Ben, another public figure. While she once loved Opa Fambo deeply, she now insists that she could never rekindle that romance.
"I loved him endlessly because I love wholeheartedly, but I regret it. I can never fall in love with him again, and I pray to God to keep him away from me. Even if he becomes president of this country, I would leave it for my own good," Nambwayo stated.
Despite their years together, Nambwayo and Opa Fambo never had children together. Their separation, however, seems to have left lasting emotions, as she firmly stands by her decision to move on.
Her new relationship with Suuna Ben has been more fulfilling, and she continues to build her career while distancing herself from her past with Opa Fambo.
