Mengo based radio station host women celebrities to mark International Women’s Day

Wife to NUP president, Barbie Kyagulanyi has marked today’s International Women’s day at Cbs Fm 88.8 Emanduso where she was hosted to read the 9am bulletins.

She read the bulletin with Dr Edith Nakku new elected Uganda medical Association (UMA) and a teacher at Makerere. Barbie as an author, Philanthropist has been a pillar in passionate advocating for Girls, Women and Youth and woman emancipation in the country.

Among the headlines featured was a call by different women leaders to women and girls to embrace technology and use it to improve their skills.

Barbie read that digital technology can be a powerful tool for promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls to achieve their full potential.

She further advised to use these platforms to the benefit of all women and humanity in general.

On the same radio station as a norm on this day, different women are selected to present on different programs to celebrate the women’s day.

Mirriam Chisha Chimba Communications Officer Uganda Girl Guides Association from Zambia, and Dr. Joyce Nansamba Kikambi Lecturer Makerere University school of Psychology raed the bulletin at 11am.

The 3:00pm English Bulletin has been read by Deputy Lord Mayor Nyanjura Doreen and Evening Cruz presented by Dianah Nabatanzi Azawi and Laika.
