Dancehall musician Mudra, a respected figure in Kampala’s music scene, has opened up about his role in shaping the career of Ugandan star Alien Skin. Mudra revealed that before Alien Skin rose to fame as the “Sitya Danger” hitmaker, he personally pushed the artist’s music and helped him secure performance opportunities.
Mudra described how he took Alien Skin to various stages and introduced him to key industry figures, facilitating his breakthrough. Despite occasional clashes with some members of Alien Skin’s team, Mudra emphasized the mutual respect between himself and the artist and expressed frustration that some within Alien Skin’s camp fail to acknowledge his contribution.
