Mukono’s Own Sandra Nalumansi Shines at the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development.

Sandra Nalumansi, a distinguished Ugandan youth leader, lawyer, and Lead Coordinator at High Hope Uganda, made a remarkable impression at the prestigious Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development held at the Speke Resort Convention Centre. Born on September 21, 2000, and raised in Mukono, Nalumansi has consistently demonstrated her commitment to youth leadership and national development.

The Forum, which took place under the theme “Driving job creation and economic growth through sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063,” gathered delegates from across Africa and the diaspora. Presided over by the President of Uganda, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the event addressed key solutions for Africa’s pressing challenges, with a focus on sustainable development, innovation, and inclusive growth.

Nalumansi’s articulate engagement and insightful contributions during panel discussions earned her Africa’s heart from fellow delegates. With her future vision aimed to stand for the Woman Member of Parliament seat for Mukono District come 2031, a dream fueled by her passion for policy, advocacy and community empowerment, no one doubts her anymore. She’s already a leader. It’s just a matter of time before the world calls her one too.

Nalumansi, a member of the National Youth Parliament of Uganda, is recognized for her vibrant leadership style and her role in empowering young people through High Hope Uganda. Her participation in the Forum not only highlighted the capabilities of Ugandan youth but also reaffirmed the critical role of young leaders in shaping Africa’s sustainable future.
