The owner of Pacific hotel in Arua town Luiji Candia, has died.
This is the hotel which hosted Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine during
Arua Municipality parliamentary by-election campaigns in 2018.
According to reports, Candia passed on at Mulago National Referral Hospital on Sunday morning.
Aged 69, Candia suffered a stroke in Arua on Wednesday and was first admitted at St Francis Hospital Nsambya in Kampala.
He was later moved to Mulago hospital where he breathed his last.
He made a name when he disputed police claims that Bobi Wine had guns in his hotel.
