D/C Ntibankundiye Edison attached to Central Police Station (CPS) Kampala and L/ Cpl Beyeza John, a UPDF officer attached to Makindye Military Barracks and a one Nkundamukama Victor, were arrested by Kyotera police.
Sserugo told police that on Wednesday, three officers arrested him at Mutukula claiming that he was dealing in black dollars.
They reportedly demanded for Shs200m threatening to kill him upon which he gave them Shs20m.
They then went to Perfect lodge in Kyotera town and relaxed.
Police was tipped on the matter and stormed the hotel where the Shs20m, guns, police and UPDF uniforms, handcuffs etc were recovered.
The suspects were taken to Kyotera police station for interrogation under file number SD Ref 52/26/06/2019.
