Ragga Dee Criticizes Lack of Appreciation for Artists in Uganda.

Kampala, Uganda – Renowned musician Ragga Dee has voiced his concerns regarding the general lack of appreciation for hardworking individuals in Uganda, particularly within the music industry. Following a recent concert at the Serena Hotel, which did not meet expected success, Ragga Dee lamented, “My biggest regret is seeing how Ugandans don’t appreciate a person that has done something good.”

During his performance, he highlighted the unfortunate trend of artists abandoning their managers after achieving success. He pointed out that many artists fail to recognize the contributions of those who helped them rise to prominence, stating, “Look at the managers who have promoted artists to the top. Artists dump these guys after making it.” This sentiment reflects a broader issue within the industry, where support for talented individuals remains insufficient.

Ragga Dee also emphasized that many gifted Ugandan artists struggle financially due to a lack of support, asserting that “most talented people are broke in Uganda.” Despite these challenges, he encouraged fellow artists to persist and continue creating quality music for the betterment of the industry.
