However, the decision has been met with criticism from some MPs, who argue that the report should have been scrutinized by parliamentary committees before being sent to the CID. MPs like Geoffrey Ekanya and Wilfred Niwagaba contend that bypassing these committees undermines parliamentary procedures and transparency
