The famous Headies Award’s 16th edition, was hosted in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, September 3, 2023
making it the second time the event is held in the USA in a row. Headies 2023
The Awards have played a crucial part in recognizing the remarkable achievements and milestones accomplished
within the Nigerian music industry ever since they were established in 2006.
This renowned award has grown to become one of the most coveted achievements in the Nigerianmusic industry and
Africa as a whole for its recorgnition of talent.
It focuses on the A-list artists from the all over the continent.
The most highlighted artists of the year included Rema, Burna Boy and Simi, Ayrar Starr on top of Asake that bagged
the next-rated artiste of the year as well as the album of the year.
