Afro- Beats , Dancehall, and RnB Musinguzi Wycliff, known professionally as WYclef Cabana is a Ugandan Singer, Professional Teacher, Song Writter, Business Man, guitarist and Actor Signed Under Talent Walls Management. He received attention after the release of his 2020 single “Abooki”. He was Born in October18th 1998 (24years) at Nsambya Hospital, Uganda. He sings in Luganda mixes with English and Sometimes His native language Runyoro.
His musical Career Started way back in 2012 under the Stage name WYclef De Warren. My first single was Yenze in 2012 which was produced by Ronnie Da Don, in 2015. He released Lumonde, Kuda Kuda Dance and Obvious Case in 2016. He started out a musical band known as Purity band that founded with his Primary School Ob’s namely; Ayine Darwin, Kamese, Ssentumbwe Eddy among others.
Since Gigs in the band were seasonal, he worked with a Funeral Service company known as Curious Funeral Services (Mengo) as a Pole Barer to sustain himself throughout 2017 in his vacation.
He later joined Kibz Band led by Irene Kayemba, H.E. Bobi Wine’s Elder Sister as a Performing artist and gigs Man. However he rebranded from WYclef De Warren to WYclef Cabana following his SUFFICIENT EPrelease at TALENT WALLS.
The Sufficient EP consists of 8 songs which include; ABOOKI, TAKIMALA Ft DJ KASH PRO, MUSONO, GIVE IN, KIFANANYI, PARTY, Ft KHIM SWAQQ, BALAGE and EMILINA.
He worked with South Sudan’s Star Khim Swaqq titled Party, Takimala were he featured Dj Kash Pro, Dary Hits at CoffeeShop Avenue alongside BOMBA made my beat (Sound Change).
Being inspired by people with good work in music, it made him possess different arts and skills which makes people fall for his Music and Cabana as a brand.
