"Challenges are not roadblocks, they are stepping stones. Let's use them to learn and become stronger. Your voices matter. Your votes matter," she stated.

A Resilient Leader with a Developmental Agenda.

Since her election in 2016, Namuganza has played a transformational role in Bukono County through infrastructure, education, health and economic empowerment programs.

Education: Spearheaded the construction and renovation of primary and secondary schools, distributed bursaries, and provided scholarships for underprivileged students.

  • Agriculture and Economic Empowerment: Distributed coffee seedlings, fertilizers, and modern farming tools to local farmers, empowering communities to engage in sustainable agribusiness.
  • Infrastructure: Advocated for rural electrification programs, improved road networks, and facilitated clean water projects in Bukono County.
  • Women & Youth Empowerment: Funded skills development programs such as tailoring, crafts, and entrepreneurship, creating employment opportunities for young people and women-led groups.

Political Resilience and Impact.

Despite political battles and controversies, Namuganza has remained steadfast in her fight for social justice and service delivery.

  • Defied political suppression and emerged as one of NRM’s boldest leaders advocating for fair representation.
  • Survived a parliamentary censure motion in 2023, which many viewed as a politically motivated attack against her outspoken stance on land matters.
  • Continues to push for equitable land policies to protect landlords, tenants and indigenous communities.

As Bukono County gears up for the 2026 elections, Namuganza is expected to campaign on a platform of strengthening service delivery, defending land rights, and ensuring government accountability.
