Ugandan singer and TikTok personality Uncle Chumi has been released from police custody following a dispute with her landlord. The incident, which led to her arrest and charges related to theft, unfolded around her business premises where her bar operates. Detained at Busabala Police Station, Uncle Chumi spent a night in custody before being freed.
In a heartfelt interview with Sanyuka TV after her release, Uncle Chumi explained that the disagreement arose from unresolved issues with the landlord. She expressed gratitude to those who supported her during the ordeal and remained optimistic about resolving the conflict amicably. Despite the setbacks, she affirmed her belief that challenges are part of her journey toward success.
