As the highly anticipated guild elections at Victoria University draw closer, students are preparing to head to the polls on 17th and 18th February to choose new leadership that will shape their academic and welfare environment. Among the candidates seeking to lead the student body is Mugarura Isaiah Ndebwoha, who is contesting for Guild President under what he has branded the VIBE Agenda.

The VIBE Agenda — an acronym for Vision, Inclusion, Boldness, and Empowerment — has emerged as a central theme in Ndebwoha’s campaign, presenting a structured framework aimed at addressing key student concerns across campus.
Under the Vision pillar, Ndebwoha proposes strengthening communication between student leadership, university administration, and the general student population. He argues that improved communication channels will ensure transparency, faster response to student issues, and better coordination of academic and extracurricular programs.

His Inclusion policy emphasizes representation of all student groups regardless of academic programs, nationality, gender, or background. According to his campaign messaging, the agenda seeks to ensure that every student’s voice is heard in decision-making processes.
The Boldness component focuses on proactive leadership that actively defends student interests, particularly in matters of welfare, academic policies, and campus facilities.

Meanwhile, the Empowerment pillar aims to expand student opportunities beyond the classroom through skills development, career mentorship, innovation programs, and partnerships that enhance employability after graduation.
With the election date approaching, the VIBE Agenda has become a focal point of discussions among students, as voters weigh their expectations for the next guild leadership.
