"I am truly sorry for my actions. I was not myself at that moment, and I deeply regret any harm or misunderstanding caused. I respect you and appreciate all that you have done, not just for me but for others as well," Weasel stated in his apology.

The Goodlyfe singer explained that he had been going through a physically and emotionally exhausting period, especially after spending long nights caring for his ailing brother, Jose Chameleone. Chameleone had been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and was receiving medical treatment in the U.S., where Weasel had traveled to support him.

During his stay in the U.S., Weasel was also involved in a major music project with Tanzanian artist Bushoke. Juliet Zawedde played a crucial role in ensuring the project’s success, including financially supporting Bushoke’s wardrobe expenses, which amounted to $6,000. While Weasel clarified that he did not receive direct financial assistance from Zawedde, he acknowledged and appreciated her generous contributions to the project.

His apology has received mixed reactions from the public, with many praising him for taking responsibility for his actions. Some have also commended Juliet Zawedde for her generosity and continued support for Ugandan artists.

As Weasel moves forward, he remains focused on his brother’s health and his musical endeavors, hoping to turn the page on the controversy and maintain positive relationships within the industry.
