Kampala, Uganda – Ugandan singer Winnie Nwagi has unexpectedly pulled out of her scheduled performance at Venom Club in Dubai, which was set for Saturday, February 1, 2025. The cancellation has left the event promoter, Kats Promotions, frustrated and disappointed over the unfulfilled agreement.
Sources indicate that Nwagi’s visa was processed on time, and she was expected to board a flight on Thursday evening. However, she failed to do so without providing any clear explanation for her absence. As of now, neither Nwagi nor her management team at Swangz Avenue has issued an official statement regarding the cancellation.
The situation raises questions about whether the event will proceed with a replacement artist or if ticket holders will receive refunds. Kats Promotions is reportedly unhappy with the singer and her team, especially since all preparations for the event had been completed prior to the cancellation.
