A journalist in the crowd asked her directly about the speculation, and Nwagi responded by firmly denying any intentions to part ways with her record label.
When asked about the rumors that suggested she was no longer on good terms with Swangz Avenue, Nwagi addressed the crowd confidently: “When I was coming on stage, you (Mr. Henrie) introduced me as a Swangz Avenue artist. I’m still under Swangz Avenue.” This clear statement dismissed the claims that she had decided to leave the label, which has been instrumental in her rise to fame.
