Celebrated Ugandan singer and Mpaka Records CEO, Ykee Benda (real name Wycliff Tugume), has announced plans to mark his 10-year milestone in the music industry with a major concert, either late this year (2025) or early in 2026.
Speaking during an interview on Galaxy TV, Ykee Benda expressed his excitement about reaching a decade in the entertainment industry, revealing that he is eager to celebrate this achievement with his fans.

“Either late 2025 or early 2026, but if it’s early, then it will be no later than January. I don’t have a problem working with a promoter, but I can also manage it with my own team under Mpaka Records,” Ykee Benda stated.
This will be his second major concert, following the successful “Singa” Concert at Serena Hotel in March 2019, which saw a massive turnout of fans and industry stakeholders. In 2023, Ykee had initially planned another concert but was forced to cancel due to undisclosed challenges.
With the 10-year anniversary approaching in September 2025, the “Superman” hitmaker is keen on making his upcoming concert an unforgettable experience. While he remains open to working with event promoters, he is also considering self-organizing the event under Mpaka Records—a label he founded to support and promote Ugandan talent.
As fans eagerly await an official date and venue announcement, Ykee Benda continues to actively release music and expand his influence within the industry.
