Uganda’s football governing boady Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has unveiled Paul Joseph put as new National team Head Coach.
The Belgian this time, has been allowed to appoint his own backroom staff and he is already coming with five other people from Belgium.
However, there will be Ugandans who will work as part of the backroom staff.

“FUFA rolled out an application process and we got over 150 coaches including two Ugandans who applied for the job,”FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses.
“After thorough analysis, the FUFA Executive zeroed down on Mr. Paul Joseph Put and we believe he will do a good job.” Magogo added.

Coach Paul Put helped Burkina Faso reach the final of AFCON in 2013, guided Guinea to a quarterfinal finish and also helped The Gambia to qualify for AFCON.
FUFA had earlier sacked Serbian Micho after failing to qualify in the AFCON 2023 qualifiers.
