Ava Peace Discusses Collaborations with Male Musicians.

Rising Ugandan artist Ava Peace, whose real name is Peace Namugonza, has shared her insights on the dynamics of working with male versus female musicians in the industry. During a recent media round, she expressed that she finds collaborations with male artists to be more straightforward, citing less drama and more professionalism compared to her experiences with female counterparts.

Ava’s comments come in light of her recent success with the viral song “Tabbu,” a collaboration with Daxx Vibez, which has been receiving significant airplay since its release two weeks ago. She praised Daxx for his supportive nature and how easy he made the recording process, despite being a well-known star. “I have worked with both, but the easiest is the male gender. They do not have that bad attitude; they are so good and with them, there is no drama,” Ava stated.

The partnership between Ava and Daxx was born out of a long-standing acquaintance that finally blossomed into a productive collaboration. They had discussed working together for years before finally hitting the studio, where they created “Tabbu.” As Ava continues to gain recognition in the music scene, her perspective on gender dynamics in collaborations adds an interesting layer to discussions about inclusivity and teamwork in the industry.
