Kampala, Uganda – The relationship between former GoodLyfe singer Clever J and his wife has reportedly reached a breaking point, reigniting long-standing disputes amid serious allegations of abuse and witchcraft. The couple, who have been together for several years, are now facing significant challenges as Clever J accuses his wife of practicing witchcraft, while she alleges that he has physically assaulted her.
Clever J’s wife has come forward with claims of physical abuse, detailing incidents where he allegedly beat her with an iron bar. She also expressed that his accusations of witchcraft have resulted in persistent emotional stress. “I feel trapped in this situation,” she stated, highlighting the toll the relationship has taken on her well-being.
In response to the turmoil, Clever J is demanding that his wife vacate their home. However, she has refused to leave, citing a lack of alternative accommodation. She revealed that she once requested UGX 20 million from Clever J to secure a place to stay, but he declined her request. Even a modest plea for UGX 200,000 was reportedly turned down, leaving her with no means to exit the marriage.
