Kampala, Uganda – Abba Marcus Mayanja has confirmed that he has reconciled with his father, renowned musician Jose Chameleone, following a public discussion about the latter’s struggles with addiction. Earlier this month, Abba shared personal details regarding Chameleone’s battles with alcoholism, which raised concerns about their relationship.
In a recent statement, Abba reassured fans that everything is well between them. “I talked with my father yesterday,” he shared, emphasizing the positive nature of their communication. He noted that Chameleone had even bought a present for Abba’s sister, reinforcing the familial bond. “I told him how proud I am of him, and it was all good. He emphasized his love for me as well,” Abba added.
Jose Chameleone is currently in America receiving treatment for acute pancreatitis, a condition often linked to excessive alcohol consumption. Despite the earlier public revelations, Abba’s comments reflect a commitment to maintaining a supportive relationship during challenging times.
