Kampala, Uganda – In a recent interview, Eddy Kenzo, the President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), revealed his favorite artists of 2024, acknowledging the impressive contributions of his peers in the Ugandan music industry. Speaking candidly, Kenzo highlighted several standout names that have made significant impacts this year.
Among those he praised was Nandor Love, whom he commended for his creativity and unique sound. Kenzo also recognized Ava Peace, describing her as “very aggressive” in her approach to music, which has resonated with audiences. Additionally, he included Azawi on his list, rounding it off with Dax Vibez, who he noted has had an incredible year with two of the best hit songs of 2024.
Kenzo emphasized the importance of hard work in the industry, stating, “It’s all about putting in the hard work. That’s why you see some artists say they sing a lot but end up on the bench with their music.” His remarks reflect a belief that talent alone is not enough; dedication and effort are crucial for success in the competitive music landscape.
