Speaking with Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Bad Black stated, “I no longer vend myself openly for money. I hide behind diplomatic terms and at times go behind human rights foundations for women to get money from men.” This shift reflects her attempt to navigate complex relationships while moving away from her previous lifestyle.

She acknowledged that despite her personal evolution, many women continue to engage in sex work as a means of survival. “Exchanging money for sex is still a reality for many women in Kampala,” she noted. Her comments highlight the ongoing issues surrounding women’s rights and economic independence within the context of Uganda’s socio-economic landscape.
