Dokta Brain Set to Revolutionize Ugandan Music with “7/14 Shine Your Light”

Kampala, Uganda – In an exciting development for the Ugandan music scene, songwriter Dokta Brain has announced his latest initiative, “7/14 Shine Your Light.” This groundbreaking project aims to produce seven songs for each of 14 selected vocalists, culminating in an impressive total of 98 tracks. Known for his work with popular artists like Sheebah, Dokta Brain is determined to uplift emerging talent through this innovative approach.

“Every one of them will get an EP, and in total, there are 98 songs,” he explained during a recent interview. His mission is clear: provide artists with high-quality music without the constraints of commercial pressure. “I’m not selling this; I want to give these artists something meaningful,” he stated.

To ensure that the project carries significant weight, Dokta Brain plans to collaborate closely with each vocalist on song themes and lyrics. “We will pick what each artist will sing about so that the album or project has a proper meaning to it,” he emphasized.

Additionally, in a shift from his typical style, Dokta Brain intends to limit the use of Luganda in the songs. He aims to create music that can be featured in films and television shows rather than focusing solely on commercial hits. “There will be little Luganda in the songs because that’s my commercial side,” he noted.

As this ambitious project takes shape, it holds the potential to redefine artistic expression within Uganda’s music industry and inspire a new generation of musicians.
