Siaya County, Kenya – The Piny Luo Festival brought together prominent East African leaders, including Presidents Yoweri Museveni and William Ruto, along with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, to celebrate the rich traditions of the Luo community. The event highlighted the importance of cultural heritage in fostering unity among nations in the region.

Both presidents spoke passionately about their commitment to preserving cultural values that bind communities together. “We will continue to safeguard our shared heritage to strengthen regional unity and drive economic prosperity in East Africa,” they asserted during their addresses.
