King Oyo Urges Political Leaders to Avoid Exploiting Tooro Kingdom Land Issues.

Hoima, Uganda – In a firm New Year message delivered from his palace in Fort Portal, King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV has cautioned political leaders in Tooro against using land matters for personal political gain. The King expressed concern that some individuals aspiring for leadership positions have been spreading falsehoods about the Kingdom’s intentions regarding land evictions.

King Oyo directed all kingdom land officers to educate subjects on proper land documentation, reiterating that there would be no evictions from Kingdom land. “We cannot allow our political leaders to manipulate our land issues for their selfish interests,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of transparency and integrity in governance.
