Kampala, Uganda – The National Culture Forum (UNCF) has officially imposed a six-month performance ban on Ugandan musicians Pallaso and Alien Skin following their involvement in a violent altercation that escalated into physical clashes. This incident, which reportedly involved their respective gangs, resulted in property damage and injuries to individuals.

The UNCF stated that the suspension serves as both a penalty and a warning to other artists, urging them to refrain from engaging in similar violent behavior. This decision comes shortly after a similar six-month ban was issued by the body representing event promoters in Uganda, prohibiting both artists from being booked for any performances during this period.
The violent incident has sparked widespread criticism from government officials, fellow musicians, and stakeholders who are concerned about the negative image portrayed by the artists. The UNCF’s action underscores the importance of maintaining integrity within the music industry and fostering a peaceful environment for all involved.
