Kampala, Uganda – Following his successful concert at Serena Hotel on January 31, 2025, Ugandan artist A Pass has issued a stern warning to YouTubers who recorded and uploaded videos of his performance without permission. The singer expressed his frustration over unauthorized uploads, particularly those exceeding three minutes in length, stating, “Everyone that recorded my show with their cheap camera and old phone and uploaded a video of more than 3 minutes on their YouTube channel, you will lose it.”

A Pass emphasized the significant investment he made in producing a high-quality recording of the concert, hiring fifteen cameras and drones to capture the event from various angles. He expressed disappointment in those who shared footage before his official release, asserting that they have no right to do so. This warning highlights the ongoing issue of copyright infringement in the music industry, as artists seek to protect their work from unauthorized distribution.
